Bybit Pay’s QR Pay feature allows users to complete transactions by simply scanning a QR code with their device. It offers a fast, secure, and convenient way to transfer funds or make purchases using cryptocurrencies supported by Bybit Pay, enhancing the overall payment experience.

 

This article serves as a guide for making payments with QR Pay on the app, along with additional details about the feature. 

 

 

How to Scan a Merchant’s QR Code

Step 1: From the Bybit homepage, tap on the Scanner icon to open the QR scanner.

 

Alternatively, you can also click More → Bybit Pay. Then, tap on QR Pay to open the QR scanner to scan the payment QR code. 

 

For PIX Pay QR payment (currently only available for verified Brazilian users), select PIX Pay under the Applications section on the Bybit Pay page. 

 

Notes: 

• Identity Verification is required to use Bybit Pay’s QR Pay. Please ensure you complete the Identity Verification by following the guide. 

• Please note that you may be required to submit additional verification during the payment process. 

 

Step 2: 

a. For PIX Pay,

You can complete the payment either by scanning the QR code or copying the PIX QR code. 

• To pay via QR code scan, simply tap on Scan and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the payment.

• To pay via copying the PIX QR code, copy the code provided by the merchant and open the Bybit App. You will be automatically redirected to the payment confirmation page.

 

b. For the other QR Payments, 

You will be redirected to enter the payment amount to proceed further.

 

 

Step 3: Carefully review the details by clicking “Details” before confirming the payment. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4: Complete the verification and click on Confirm.

 

Step 5: Your payment is successfully made!

 

To view your payment history, you may head to the Bybit Pay page and click on the Paper icon in the top right corner.
